Mineral County Planning Commission

The Planning Commission's responsibility is to serve in an advisory capacity to the County Commission, and to promote the orderly development of the unincorporated areas of the county.

The Planning Commission is empowered with the authority to implement regulations and ordinances to carry out the objectives and goals of the County's Comprehensive Plan adopted in 1996.

The Planning Director is responsible for carrying out the county's planning programs on a daily basis, providing technical review of development proposals and issuing permits for construction.
