Geographic Information System Project

Mineral County has begun the process of converting its paper tax maps into digital tax maps. These digitized parcels will become the first step toward a countywide GIS (Geographic Information System). This system will serve as a tool that will positively impact Mineral County's ability to serve its citizens. Computer Mapping Consultants located in Kingwood, West Virginia are completing the conversion.
