DRAFT "BUILDING SAFETY ORDINANCE"

The Mineral County Commission has developed a Building Safety Ordinance to make it possible for the County Government to deal with structures that pose a risk to “public health, safety, and or welfare."

Public comment is encouraged and may be directed to the Mineral County Commission, 150 Armstrong Street, Keyser, WV  26726 or countycommission@mineralcountywv.com.  You may reach the County Planner at (304) 788-1457.  Comments will be received by the county commission until 4:30 p.m. February 25, 2008.  The County Commission will vote on adoption of the ordinance during the February 26, 2008 regularly scheduled meeting.
